OUR ROOF SYSTEMS
Inalfa Roof Systems offers a comprehensive range of roof systems for the global car and truck industry. Our diverse range of roof systems, incorporating the latest technologies and innovations within the industry, enhance the driving and in-vehicle experience. Renowned for their modular design, space-efficient installation, and low noise performance, our solutions provide superior systems.
Our roof systems can be categorized by vehicle installation method; bottom-loaded, installed from inside the vehicle, or top-loaded, bonded to the top of the vehicle. In addition, our products can be classified as outsliders or insliders.
EXTERIOR SLIDERS
The Exterior Slider is a sliding roof system that provides both ventilation and sliding opening, offering maximum transparency. The front panel slides either over the rear panel or over the roof skin on the outside of the vehicle. The product provides a modular set-up that can be used as a single or double panel system, ensuring easy adaptation to different vehicle models. One of our key customers received the largest panel size of 1.2m², currently the largest available on the market, ensuring optimised daylight opening and maximum headroom for passengers.
TOPSLIDERS
The Topslider is a panoramic roof that has become very popular in markets all over the world. It features a two-panel design where the front panel slides over the rear panel on the outside of the vehicle. This system provides ventilation and a large sliding opening with maximum stability under the most demanding vehicle loads. These systems are available in both bottom-loaded and top-loaded versions.
FIXED PANELS
Fixed Panels are top-loaded roof systems consisting of one or more fixed panels. These large panoramic views enhance the driving experience by providing a wide view, often complemented by an Inalfa sun blind.
With Inalfa’s strategic glass partnership, the full range of glass solutions can be supplied, from standard tempered glass panels to large laminated glass panels with various integrated foil technologies.
SUNBLINDS
A sun blind is a stand-alone shading product that can be integrated into one of our roof systems or provided as a stand-alone system. Sunblinds primarily consist of rollo blinds, which are available in a variety of fabrics to give passengers the choice of enjoying the view or blocking direct sunlight. These blinds are manufactured at Inalfa’s assembly plants in various locations.
INSLIDER
An inslider roof system is a bottom-loaded system where the moving panel slides inside the vehicle. It incorporates all the features of a sliding roof, such as fresh air, light, and thermal comfort.
The systems are available in different sizes, following our highly standardized modular approach. The TVS (Tilt Vent Slide) system is a single panel solution and is ideal for installation in smaller vehicles. The system can be extended with a second, rear panel to make it suitable for large vehicles.
TRUCK HATCHES
There is a wide range of options available for commercial vehicle hatches. We offer truck hatches with a variety of functions including ventilation only, additional sliding capability, or additional escape functionality. Our truck hatches are carefully designed with modularity in mind, ensuring easy and quick installation. Coupled with competitive pricing, these attributes establish Inalfa as the preferred supplier of truck hatches to almost all European truck manufacturers.
PANORAMIC DISPLAY INTEGRATION
As an optional feature of our roof systems, Inalfa offers the integration of a panoramic display for rear passengers that can be used for work, communication or relaxation while driving. The display can be automatically retracted when not in use, allowing passengers to enjoy the view outside.
SMART GLASS TECHNOLOGY
All of our systems can be equipped with either regular glass or smart glass options. Thermal control glass improves performance by reducing the heating of the car interior when exposed to sunlight. Switchable glass allows passengers to adjust the level of haze, providing a privacy function. In addition, in-glass lighting provides ambient lighting integrated into the glass to enhance the interior atmosphere during nighttime driving.
