Inalfa Roof Systems celebrates 50 years of sunroofs!

Over the past 50 years,  Inalfa Roof Systems has become a world leader in the supply of high quality roof systems. Today, we are proud to have produced over 100 million roof systems, amounting to more than 6.5 million annually, for over 40 car brands. 

Founded in 1946, Inalfa began as a trading and manufacturing company for consumer products. In the 1970s, Inalfa ventured into the development of sliding roofs. In 1974, exactly 50 years ago, the first sunroof system was produced. In the 1980s, Inalfa focused exclusively on roof systems, marking a milestone with the installation of a prototype in the Rover SD1.

As demand grew, Inalfa expanded into global markets, establishing manufacturing facilities in Europe, Asia and North America. Inalfa has focused on global standardization and achieving excellence in engineering and manufacturing, with a particular emphasis on innovation through advanced opening roof systems.
